Okay, so I recorded this nearly 4 months ago, but as with nearly all songs I've released, when I recorded it, I had no intention of anyone besides myself EVER hearing it. That's what gives me the freedom to experement and try new things that I wouldn't do if I knew someone else would hear it. Well this was one of the first and only times I tried singing while playing the piano. For so many years I've been afraid of letting people hear me sing, OR play the piano, and I belived that I couldn't do both at the same time. Well now I'm letting you hear both! I get embarased, and think my singing and playing isn't "GOOD ENOUGH". But now after listening to it today, I realize especially the first three minutes are really special, and someone should be allowed hear it besides me :) Enjoy, my friends. This is me.

...A few weeks later, I spent a few hours overnight @ chuch just so I could practice on the Yamaha Synth. I figured out a few tricks on it, and in the process, I recorded a rendition a Shane Barnard song which led into an origional improv, then I also did a Seedy rendition of Faithful One by Lili Haydn:

Thinkin of one of the most beautiful souls I know, I let loose on the keys. But I didn't feel my work came close to representing her inner beauty and creativity, so I tried again and again and again and again and again. Here are the 5th & 6th shots at capturing a glimpse into her essence.

A short tune played after practicing Evanescance's "My Immortal". A familiar riff sneaks it's way in here as well. I feel like there's an expanding & growing process going on where past tunes I've played will develop into mature songs...we'll see.....

Then this one is the 1st I played while thinkin of a certain sum1's life. Honestly, I think this performance coulda been better if I was thinking less about the music, more about the person,.......but it sure has some nice highlights. =)

I finally got my Electric Piano jacked up to record MIDI along with audio! The MIDI version will sound crappy on your computer, BUT it'll sound AWESOME on a Grand Player Piano!! The MP3 version has a prelude.

...but just before recording that, I took a shot at playing "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2, which led into an origional improv influenced by the prior song, so I named it "Monday Scabby Monday". I think U'll like it. It's one of my favourites!

DJ Dov was stumming the tune, and singing along, but stopped himself, saying he couldn't sing it......So I told him that I could sing it. So we gave it a try. We were both impressed, and Dov insisted that we'd do it again in front of people...well eventually we got one person interested, and she decided to record us, then Theo stepped in!

I was sooooo friggin nervous! Had to shut my eyes, and grab my cell phone's earpiece as a pretend microphone to help me zone into the music, and away from my fears of being seen & heard.
