a pride of country, ethnicity, or culture.
I've gotten to know proud pinoys
but I can't say I'm a proud armenian, sicilian, italian, French, or American.
I've never had school spirit either
in the office we're supposed to have the "kirby spirit"....maybe someday I'll get that.
I'm proud of other things.....things I've chosen......and those that have chosen me
also proud of my friends......proud of those I love.
I guess that's it. I don't love my nations or schools.........never embraced em. (tho I do love our constitution and heretage)
I've learned to live without a pride

Process: I will collect yellow things which will be mostly litter and other refuse of our urban environment, on walks. I will collect them as I go about the normal business of my life.
Process: I am accumulating all plastic shopping bags left on the street that I encounter each time I go outside. A record is being kept of how many bags are accumulated each day for the course of the project year.
Process: I will visit this person in her apartment to help clear out all that she has been accumulating for years. I will collect some of the items we would otherwise discard and save them as documents of her accumulation. I will select things that are most striking by the quantity of the objects or by the nature of the objects themselves and their visual appeal...
...The process of sifting through the clutter is like an archeological excavation...
I came across this site and thot to share it. I found some of the projects quite interesting. I like the one with the "Discarded Dreams" (mattreses), and think the one with the Candle Wax will be worth following month to month!"
I myself will be making a contribution toward the AOL CD's accumulation! I think I have over 200!
